MICHAEL CROTEAU - Creative Director Principal and Creative Director Michael Croteau has a degree in Communications Art from Rochester Institute of Technology and studied Fine Arts at SVA in New York. He worked in a number of prominent design firms both in his native Vermont and in New York City, before starting Croteau Design (Cro2) in 1988. Michael is also owner of Croteaux Vineyards on the North Fork of Long Island, the country’s only producer of exclusively Rosé wines. He lives on the historic farm/vineyard with his wife and two children. "Design is not only a set of visual and technical skills, but a summary of experiences which bring a unique perspective to the visual process. Listening, seeing, traveling, socializing, working, playing, thinking, creating, learning, are all intimately involved in the design process. Living a diverse and full life greatly furthers one's ability and knowledge to design well. Being a husband, father, brother, son, friend, farmer, artist, athlete, developer, land preserver, traveler, vintner, and builder makes me a better designer." |
